Unmannered is an independent London and Helsnki-based production company focusing on feature and short film projects in both documentary and narrative.

 

The company’s first feature Boarders was released in 2021 and was longlisted for 2 awards at the British Independent Film Awards, including the Breakthrough Producer Award for Annika Ranin. In 2023 the company released its second feature My Everest, which premiered at the UK’s largest cinema, the BFI IMAX in April 2023 followed by a UK theatrical release and a US-release. Recent work includes a short film adaptation of Karl Ove Knausgård’s bestselling novel A Death in the Family, starring Johnny Flynn.

The company is currently developing a romantic comedy with BAFTA-winner Lynsey Miller attached to direct and multiple other fiction and documentary projects in the UK and Nordics.
